Context, general presentation of the project:
Currently, FAMILOR works with a clientele of large groups in whom we have complete confidence, particularly in the automotive, energy and industrial sectors such as RENAULT, GROUPE STELLANTIS, KNAUF, SMART, RENAULT TRUCKS, TOYOTA, UEM, VEOLIA, ERAMET, SPIE, EIFFAGE PAM, MOSL, …
Beyond this display of a varied clientele, our company is in practice highly dependent on the automotive sector both in turnover and in seasonality of production (70% of Turnover achieved over 4 months of the year).
Despite a tense market in the automotive sector due to supply problems for micro-electronic components which are paralyzing production factories, sales of hybrid and electric vehicles are constantly increasing. This situation should lead to a strong recovery after the crisis in micro-electronic components.
FAMILOR is a small player compared to its sectoral competition represented by companies generally with a turnover of 50 M euros to more than 500 M euros such as ATS GROUPE, CIEMMADA, DÜRR, FIVES CINETIC, ACTEMIUM, EIFFAGE , …
In addition, our production tool is conventional (neither automatic nor digital), which does not allow the company to be competitive in manufacturing costs compared to the competition.
Also, we must compensate for the lack of technology by using subcontracting generating additional manufacturing costs.
Given our dependence on the automotive sector, we are constantly looking for evolution but also diversification.
Our project is focused on the performance and modernization of our production tool but also on the development of an innovative tube descaling machine for the condensers of nuclear power plants.
This project should allow us to enter new markets and acquire new customers by relying on our means of production and our skills in mechanics and electrical engineering.

Sustain our core business by retaining our current customers.
Acquire new markets thanks to the modernization of our workshop as well as the development of the tube descaling machine for the condensers of nuclear power plants.
Develop new skills by training our staff and hiring new employees (around 5 people for our workshop, and 12 people for the tube descaling machine).

Purchase of numerically controlled and automatic machines in order to modernize our production tools.
Acquisition of new technologies through the purchase of machines such as: 3D scanner, water jet cutting and laser cutting.
Modification of manufacturing flows in our production workshop.
Purchase and development of an innovative tube descaling machine for nuclear power plant condensers.

Our project is focused on the performance and modernization of our production tools in order to address new markets and acquire new customers.
We are constantly looking for evolution but also diversification.
To do this, we must acquire new, state-of-the-art machines and develop an innovative tube descaling machine for the condensers of nuclear power plants.
In addition, our skills in mechanics and electrical engineering will be supplemented by training activities for our staff and by the hiring of new employees (around 5 people for our workshop, and 12 people for the tube descaling machine).
This project will make it possible to perpetuate our company but also to diversify, improve and increase the quality and quantity of the products manufactured and offered by FAMILOR.
Expected results :
On the organization and means of production:
To date, 100% of the parts manufactured by laser are subcontracted, we estimate that we can produce 95% of these parts in-house, which will free up time for our purchasing department and facilitate our manufacturing process (no or little waiting for pieces).
The same goes for 80% of painted parts which are subcontracted.
We plan to increase our production by 15 to 20% thanks to the modernization of our machinery.
On the products :
The investment in a laser cutting machine, in a water jet cutting machine as well as in a new paint booth, will allow us to diversify, improve and increase the quality and quantity of the products manufactured and offered by FAMILOR.
On the financial plan :
The modernization of our production tool, the integration of new technologies and the development of an innovative tube descaling machine for the condensers of nuclear power plants should allow us to increase our turnover by around 30% and improve our production margins by around 8%.
In human terms :
This project will enable us to develop new skills through the training of our staff and the hiring of new collaborators (around 5 people for our workshop and 12 people for the tube descaling machine).
In terms of innovation:
The development of the tube descaling machine for nuclear power plant condensers will lead to the filing of one or more patents.
On real estate:
A complete redevelopment of the workshop will be necessary for the installation of the new machines.
